HOW IT WORKS
Sculptra® uses microparticles of poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA-SCA™), a plant-based material used in dissolvable stitches for decades. Once injected, it stimulates your body's own collagen and elastin production across all three skin layers, gradually restoring firmness, smoothness and volume. Most patients have 2–3 sessions spaced a few weeks apart, with results visible from around one month and lasting more than two years.

SCULPTRA® FACE TREATMENT
Who is the treatment for?
Sculptra® is designed to improve skin firmness, smoothness and volume while improving radiance and overall skin quality. Suitability is confirmed at your free consultation.
Which areas can be treated?
On the face, Sculptra® is approved for cheek wrinkles, smile (nasolabial) lines, marionette lines and chin wrinkles.
How many sessions will I need?
On average 2 to 3 treatment sessions over the course of a few months, typically spaced 3 to 4 weeks apart - your practitioner will tailor the plan to you.
Is there downtime involved?
There is minimal to no downtime. Temporary swelling, redness or bruising can occur and usually subsides within a few days; makeup can normally be applied several hours after treatment.
How soon are results visible?
Results are gradual and natural-looking - most clinical study participants saw results from around one month, with results lasting more than 2 years and 89% of patients still satisfied 2 years after treatment.

Can Sculptra treat the body?
Yes - Sculptra® can be used on the arms, thighs, buttocks and décolletage to improve skin firmness, smoothness and the appearance of cellulite.
How does Sculptra work?
Microparticles of plant-based poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA-SCA™) stimulate your body's own collagen and elastin production, working across all three skin layers to renew healthy tissue.
What results can I expect on the body?
Clinical studies showed improvements as early as one month after treatment, with continued improvement at 2 months - and 97% of patients saw firmer skin one year after treatment.
Is Sculptra safe?
Sculptra® has been used worldwide since 1999. Poly-L-lactic acid has been used in dissolvable stitches for decades and contains no human or animal components.
What aftercare is needed?
Follow the simple 5-5-5 rule: massage the treated area for 5 minutes, 5 times a day, for 5 days. A cloth-wrapped cold pack can be applied for a few minutes at a time during the first 24 hours.
